Welcome to Dheary Space. These Website Policies, Terms, and Conditions govern your use of our website (dhearyspace.com), online booking inquiries, and event venue rentals at our Setapak location. By accessing our website or booking our space, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. General & Business Details

2. Bookings, Pricing & Pax Policy

Pricing Structure

Package pricing is structured around baseline guest counts (50 pax or 100 pax) for weekday and weekend rates:

  • Monday – Thursday (Weekday Baseline):

    • 50 Pax Base: RM 2,649

    • 100 Pax Base: RM 4,049

  • Friday – Sunday & Public Holidays (Weekend Baseline):

    • 50 Pax Base: RM 3,150

    • 100 Pax Base: RM 4,550

Additional Headcount

  • For guest counts between 50 and 100 pax, each additional guest above 50 pax is charged at RM 28 per pax (e.g., 60 pax = 50 pax base + RM 280).

  • Maximum venue capacity is 100 guests for comfortable seating and layout flow.

Booking & Payment Confirmation

  • Date reservations are secured only upon payment of the required deposit.

  • Remaining balances must be settled according to the payment schedule specified in your event invoice before event commencement.

3. Venue House Rules & Code of Conduct

To ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance, all hosts and guests must adhere to the following strict house rules:

  • 100% Halal Requirement: All food, drinks, and catering brought onto the premises must be strictly Halal.

  • Prohibited Items & Activities:

    • No Alcohol: Strictly zero alcohol allowed on the premises.

    • No Smoking/Vaping: Smoking, electronic cigarettes, and vaping are strictly prohibited inside the space.

    • No Illegal Substances or Drugs: Zero-tolerance policy.

    • No Confetti or Glitter: Confetti, party poppers, glitter, spray snow, or similar materials that cause permanent staining or difficult cleanup are prohibited.

    • Behavior: Indecent, rowdy, or illegal behavior will result in immediate termination of the event without refund.

4. Setup, Overtime & Custom Layout Fees

  • Extra Setup & Air-Conditioning: Standard package hours are strictly observed. Any request for early setup or extended time with air-conditioning is charged at RM 100 per hour.

  • Custom Layout Changes: Requests for special hall layout changes or custom furniture arrangements managed by the Dheary Space team carry a fee of RM 200.

5. External Vendors Policy

We welcome external vendors (e.g., specialized dessert tables, external photographers, entertainers) under the following conditions:

  • Declaration: All external vendors must be declared to the Dheary Space team prior to event day.

  • Vendor Fee: An administrative fee of RM 50 per external vendor applies.

  • Equipment & Cleanup: External vendors must bring their own tables, cables, utensils, and gear. Vendors are required to clean up their workstations completely after use.

6. Catering, Aqiqah & Personal Belongings

  • Kambing Golek & Catering: Where included in packages, Kambing Golek includes complete setup, sauces, sides, disposable plates, and cutlery. For Aqiqah packages, slaughtering videos are provided upon request.

  • Post-Event Personal Items: Clients must remove all personal belongings, gifts, custom props, and third-party decor immediately at the conclusion of their reserved time slot. Dheary Space is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left behind.

7. Media & Photography Rights

  • Dheary Space reserves the right to capture photographs and video footage during your event for promotional, portfolio, and social media purposes (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Website).

  • Opt-Out: If you prefer that your event or guests not be featured on our social media platforms, please inform our team in writing prior to your event day.

8. Accessibility Notice

  • Our venue is located on the 1st floor accessible via stairs.

  • An electric stair-climber is available for elderly or wheelchair-bound guests. Please notify us in advance so our team can prepare the equipment.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Liability

  • Deposits: All booking deposits are non-refundable once confirmed.

  • Rescheduling: Date changes are subject to venue availability and must be requested at least 14 days before the scheduled event date.

  • Limitation of Liability: Dheary Space is not liable for indirect losses, unforeseen utility interruptions, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure).
